Any coffee house with art and sociology books for anyone to read while sipping a cortadito con leche evaporada is a place I want to go to, to eat or write in, and a place I’m proud exists in the city I live in. If it regularly holds events for independent musicians, established and new painters and photographers, as well as standup poetry sessions… then it becomes more than that.
